Hey there! Well , I'm going to put up my human and pony characters. And this is where you'l find them. c: I hope you enjoy what you see!
Afterburn
Biography:
Afterburn is a racing pegasis ((or that's what she enjoys)) and generally loves a good practice race every now and then. However, she is rather childish and at times is more disappointed than she should be when she loses. She doesn't race to impress- rather, to show ponies that winning is about you. Not how much you spend in the race. this comes from her years as a filly, watching ponies buying accessories and flashy objects. And then when they raced, the judges almost always went on their side- because they looked prettier. Soon, rules and regulations would be made for the attire of a pony, and how that would contribute to their racing. But she wouldn't let that happen- she couldn't! So much to the surprise of the other ponies, she came dressed in a simple vest and leg warmers. They laughed, saying she would never win. However, little did they expect a change in her favor.
In the Past:
As the foals and fillies lined up for the "Little Champs" racing competition, a smaller pony with redish hair and a burning orange mane joined their ranks. While they were things like frilly hats, dresses, and ribbons, she simply wore a light vest and leg warmers. They all began giggling and chortling, whispering about how simple she looked. Even the judges were doing so. "I'll win. Because I'm the prettiest!" squeed a little white filly with a blonde mane, flowers and ribbons rolling from her figure and dress. Afterburn's face grew red as she gave a glare. "This ain't no beauty pageant." she replied. But they continued to laugh. As they heard the starting horn, the little ponies vanished into a cloud of dust. However, already three were left behind- tripping over their ribbons and dresses, tearing them. Some Mares from the audience came down to help.
As the race continued, Afterburn was already neck and neck with the white filly who'd boasted earlier- and she was moving faster. Giving a winnie of rage, she attempted to throw herself into Afterburn- missing. This only managed to make her tumble further behind. Kicking up dust behind her as her hooves pounded the ground, Afterburn shot further ahead. She made the small jumps over the bales of hay that were set up on the course, which were half size. However, even then some of the other fillies couldn't make it- their accessories wore them down. Finally making it to the finish line, she slid through the red ribbon at the end.
The judges were impressed with her racing, and looking at the scores, without their outfits, the other fillies and foals would have lost. So it was decided that there wouldn't be any point counts for what a pony wore- and that there should be restrictions on what they brought.

Appearance:
Biography:
Soloren has been a hard working earth pony ever since she was a filly. In her younger years, she simply loved to daydream and stare at the flowers and trees outside of the school window, which had an effect on her grades. She was usually at home, watering the plants and keeping them fed. Her parents weren't exactly lenient, but they weren't too strict. Thus, when her schooling problems began, they decided to allow her to work int he garden at night if she promised to finish her homework. This panned out very well, and she was able to better focus her studies. Eventually, after attending the little hooves preschool, her middle school years were more planned out. Seeing as she liked plants, her mother and father decided she should have a class on the study of plants, so she entered a Florists school. As fun as it was, she wasn't quiet interested in decorating with plants as she was with caring for them. She found less enjoyment, other than her nights out in the garden. She just couldn't see why her parents didn't understand- she wasn't frilly! She was a hard working pony that wanted to take care of the things that made Equestria pretty- it's flora. Even with these studies on decoration, she did learn a bit about plants. However, many of the florists didn't put time into their work, and ended up damaging the poor things. Or worse, they simply picked them and allowed them to wither as decorations. One night she was up late, using fake flowers rather than real ones for a decorative bouquet assignment, when she heard a small crash outside her window. She looked at the small space where there had once been a beautiful forget-me-not flower, gently growing in between a collection of blue orchids. It was gone! The pony ran outside to see that the plant had fallen, and lay in the broken potting clay and clotted soil. She quickly took it back inside, and for a week she was nursing it back to health. But her studies seemed to consume more of her time, and the flower died naturally. She'd at least been able to prolong its life. However, picking out the seeds left by it, the mare was more determined. She would grow these out to be the most beautiful blue orchids and forget-me-not flowers that any pony had ever seen. Over time, keeping the orchids within a respectable amount of care, feeding, and being kept in the right environment, they bloomed and budded into extremely beautiful flora. They were tinted with white and purple, the blue base color gently faded over the petals. As for the forget-me-nots, she also kept them within that reasonable amount of sunlight and managed to nurture both selections of plants to their full potential- even if it took weeks, or nearly months of progress. And when those plants were in full bloom, the mare finally received her cutie mark. Her cutie mark is that of a plant growing from a seed, signifying her talent in gardening and helping plants live a longer life. She can remember their names, what their colors mean, what specific flowers need to keep alive, and discern poisonous does from the proper flowers. After this, she and her parents began saving money for a flower shop- to keep her happy. During her sophomore year of pony high school, she managed to meet the one who would be her destined mate- Memory lane! They were good friends, and when he told her about his ability to see other's memories, he was the first to see how she got her cutie mark. the only pony that knew about that night when the forget-me-not flowers fell. They were rather fond of each other, but after pony high school, they became separated. they met back up with each other when Memory came to visit Ponyville after three years of his college studies for therapy, and after spending another year together, he finally proposed. The ring of which he had given her was shaped to look like the forget-me-not flower which she had shared in her memory of getting her cutie mark. Thus, she happily accepted it. After two years, their first and only child to date was born; Forget Me Not. They had decided to name her after the beautiful flower, as her coat was the same shade of blue, and her mane was the same green color as her mother's. However, after an incident her father went missing. Someone had broken into his office, banged the place up, and stolen some of his finances that he kept privately. they were distraught and stricken with grief, and still hope he's out there somewhere. Since his body was never found, they assume that he had to still be alive. Currently, this mare proudly runs a flower shop with her daughter, where ponies come to find decorative flowers, specific flowers for herbal or alchemic needs, or simply the right flower for the right occasion. Her daughter, despite having the cutie mark of three blue forget me not flowers on her rump, does not seem to have the same talent in gardening. Her mother thinks that the fact that one of the flowers is missing the pollinated center may signify that her skills are weaker. But her father thinks it may be something else entirely. For now though, Soloren happily runs the flower shop with her daughter working at her side.
Current Employment: The manager and a florist at the Flower Shop she and her daughter own. She also works in the garden at night if she can't sleep well.
Mate(?): Memory Lane ((like I said, it's unsure if he's dead or alive. So she probably ain't lookin'!))
Extras(?): This pony may be used as an NPC WITH MY PERMISSION. If you don't have it, don't touch her![/spoiler]
Forget-Me-Not
Age: 17 ((human years))
Gender: Mare
Species: Unicorn
Cutie Mark: Three forget-me-not flowers. However, one appears to be missing something...
Talent: The ability to give, share, take, and receive memories. She also tends to leave a "lasting impression" on people that she meets.
Acquiring the Cutie Mark: Forget was just a young filly when she started reading magic books, preferring to study rather than play. However, at times she seemed to remember what she'd read with a quick glance at the page. That seemed normal. Soon however, she began to be able to remember what other ponies around her had read or done. She had no reason to believe this was special, but was slightly scared. the other youngsters began to wonder... how was she doing so much better in school? How was she saying things that only they would know? A rather aggressive group of fillies wanted answers, and wanted to know who was spilling their secrets. The others joined them in their inquiries. However, as they were persisting for answers with her huddled up in the corner of the class room, her blue horn began to glow. "I wish I never knew! I wish they never knew!" Forget was crying. It began to glow brighter and brighter until there was a flash of white- and the ponies around her stood there, looking confused. They didn't know why she was crying in the corner or why the were surrounding her, to Forget's surprise. And they also saw her cutie mark- flowers. So they assumed it was a symbol for gardening like her mother. Some came over and comforted her and over time, she became friends. However, should they become angry with her, she found that she could create fake memories or give them some of her own- strangely, to her dismay. She decided to only erase their memories, rather than use her magic to generate them. But that power is still there... forgotten. Unlike her anyways. She's well known around Ponyville as a good friend to other ponies, although some of them have a bit of a time trying to figure out how they met her.
Biography:
Forget was raised by a loving mother and father, "Soloren" and "Memory Lane". Her mother, Soloren, was an earth pony, who's cutie mark symbolized gardening and plants; a plant growing from a seed. And that was basically her talent- gardening. She knew how to tend to plants and keep them well watered and fed, ensuring long lasting and healthy lives. As for her father, he was a Unicorn who worked with the mind. He could see the memories of other ponies, and could help them over come memories that seemed to traumatize them or cause them pain. However, her could not remove or take them. His cutie mark was a book, with an eye on the cover; to symbolize foresight and perception. And so, he worked as a therapist. As for their daughter, she had a rather different talent. She could give, share, and receive memories. She could also take them away, or erase them. Her cutie mark was a selection of three forget-me-not flowers, with one missing something... giving the illusion that her talent was like her mother's. She could use this to her advantage, and only the ponies closest to her know its true meaning. Her current employment is helping her mother with the flower shop that they currently own.
